Following several years in secondary school when as a teacher in History and Geography in the Academy Reunion (1994-2003), he was hired as a teaching and research attaché at the Science Education Department of La Réunion University. His Ph.D thesis defended at Reunion in 2006, focussing on the representations of heredity in intercultural situations at Reunion (dir B. Cherubini). Research was about kinship anthropology that shown the family education in Creole society was strongly linked to the symbol of children appropriation between maternal and paternal lines. What representation of biological and spiritual heritages can have an influence on determinant on identity, educational and professional. For several years after education on professionals and families Reunion, his question in the field of family education, including the relationship of school family related to the topics; such as school dropout, parenting support, family mediation and education, intergenerational and intercultural relations. The questions were applied to different population of the Indian Ocean Island: Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Comoros. These developments in different contexts allowed in facing the scientific questioning on educational forms within families in relation toward cultures and histories. All this work has resulted in several publications liked; The Social Relations within the Family and Parenthood (2007), Dropping (2008), The Role and Place of Intercultural Education in Development Sustainable Indian Ocean island (2010), Family Education and Parenting Support (2014), Interreligious Dialogue and Social Cohesion in Reunion (2015).
In the laboratory of ICARE, he writed his scientific work, axising on “knowledge, learning and mediation in context.” In the collaborations of Indian Ocean was especially true with the CEF of Mauritius (Education on Mauritus Institute), the DEGS department of Antananarivo University, in the CNDRS Comoros. In mainland collaborations were mainly carried out with the laboratory X Nanterre in Paris, Mons University in Belgium, UCAM in Quebec, and Quebec University in Montreal.
