is one of the strategic efforts to improve the quality of ummah is by reconstructing the quality of education, which is directly related to the development of qualified human resources. This conference will explore ideas and solutions to international Islamic education issues, such as: (1) quality improvement of Islamic education management, (2) teaching and learning (3) educational measurement and evaluation, (3) curriculum, (4) education research and development, (5) child protection on education, (6) the role of the family on Islamic education, (7) the implementation of Islamic values in Islamic education, and (8) quality improvement for teachers. And also, this conference will explore the best practice implementation of Islamic education in some countries around the world. Education’s process aimed at the realization of an excellent, productive, competitive and solutive generation for the development of society. The reinforcement of innovation and technology mastery becomes an effective way to face globalization. Therefore, the most basic and important thing is to implement the values of Islam in the education process. The conference’s goal is to gather the educators and organizers of Islamic education as well as all those who are committed to the improvement of Islamic education to join with ITTISHAL in its efforts in improving the quality of Islamic education in the world. ITTISHAL is working with Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, Indonesia to organize the conference in order to reinforce the scholarly studies from the ideas achieved in this activity.
