Ilham Habibie Committed to Speak in ICIE 2016

Secretary General of International Islamic Forum for Science, Technology, and Human Resources Development (IIFTIHAR), Dr. Ing. Ilham A. Habibie, MBA committed to attend the 1^st International Conference on Islamic Education (ICIE) presented by ITTISHAL. He said it on the meeting with Board of ITTISHAL in Mandarin Oriental Hotel Jakarta, June 1^st 2016.

Ilham Habibie who is the son of the 3^rd President of Indonesia and the Board of Trustees of ITTISHAL, Prof. Dr. Ing. H. BJ Habibie, said that he will come to the conference organized by ITTISHAL as he sees that ITTISHAL is one the foundation concerning in Islamic education. He hopes that the conference can develop the standardization of international Islamic education to be implemented in school around the world.

“This conference must talk about the skills needed for the educators to make the standard of Islamic education. It is like we make the Islamic version of International Baccalaureate,” said Ilham Habibie. He then be ready to speak about the Islamic International Baccalaureate in the conference of ITTISHAL.

Ilham Habibie said that IIFTIHAR is established to be one of the international forum for Islam development and ITTISHAL has the differentiation in taking part especially in Islamic education. “One of the founder of ITTISHAL is the federation of Islamic schools in Saudi Arabia. I will contact its founder to take part to support ITTISHAL,” he said.

Ilham who is also the chairman of The Habibie Center said that ITTISHAL has a great task to improve the skills of teachers in Islamic education institutions. “The problem recently is the lack of human resources in Islamic education who are capable in technology. ITTISHAL has to improve this point,” Ilham said
